Labor Day Reflections: Honoring Trades, Franchising, and the Jerry Lewis Telethon - has picture on Keap email

Dear Admin,

For me, Labor Day has always been synonymous with the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon. Having worked for the Muscular Dystrophy Association for 12 years, I had the privilege of meeting some truly incredible people and partners. From the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) to Harley Davidson, 7-Eleven, Lowe's, and Burger King, I witnessed the remarkable support these organizations brought to the fight against muscular dystrophy. The camaraderie of those Labor Day weekends still resonates with me today.

While Labor Day is often a time for barbecues and relaxation, it's also a day to recognize the backbone of our country—the trades and blue-collar workers who keep everything running. These essential jobs, from plumbing and air conditioning to appliance repair, lawn care, roofing, and home remodeling, are irreplaceable. They’re not going to be outsourced to AI or automated by Amazon. Skilled trades are more crucial than ever as fewer people possess the hands-on know-how to fix things themselves.

There are many excellent franchise opportunities in the trades that are poised for growth and ready for entrepreneurs to step in. If you’re interested in learning more about franchises in these vital industries,

I’d love to chat and explore the possibilities together.

Wishing you a safe and wonderful Labor Day weekend!

Warm regards,

Laura Rolfe
